Guernsey has officially launched its e-business
manifesto for 2002. It has created a number of initiatives that are designed to
attract e-business operations to the island. These include a 2002 target to
liberalise the telecommunications market, to provide fibre-optic links for
business and home Internet access, to develop a full policy on online IP, and
the creation of a flexible legislative framework for e-business
